Frequently Asked Questions

Sentiwise is an AI-powered decision guide for products and places. It summarizes public Google Places reviews to surface strengths, weaknesses, and sentiment. For Amazon products, it provides AI-inferred guidance by analyzing the product listing context (title, description, category signals). The goal is simple: help you decide faster without endless scrolling.

  • Use the Decision Guide: Enter a product or place name (English only, no links) to get practical guidance — what to look for, what to avoid, and why.
  • Run an analysis: For Google Places, we summarize public reviews and sentiment. For Amazon products, we generate likely pros/cons from listing context.
  • Compare easily: Analyze up to 3 items side-by-side with clean breakdowns.
  • Add your voice (optional): After an analysis, you can submit a short structured review to help others (availability depends on your plan and query balance).

No. To keep usage secure and features consistent, core functionality is available to registered users. Each new account starts with 5 free queries. Some features — such as submitting reviews or accessing the Review Pool — may require an active paid query balance.

A valid search is when you view results and then start an analysis (Get Sentiment for Google or Get Highlights for Amazon) that returns at least one result.

An invalid search is when:

  • The listing stage returns no results, or
  • You see results but do not start an analysis.

After 10 invalid searches (Google and Amazon combined), 1 query is deducted automatically.

Note: Queries are consumed only when an analysis is started and returns results.

Yes. You earn 1 bonus query for every 5 likes from different users on your reviews.

All prices are in EUR:
€9.99 for 20 queries (≈ €0.50/query)
€19.99 for 50 queries (≈ €0.40/query) — Best value

How queries are used:
Queries are consumed when you start an analysis for a Google Place (Get Sentiment) or an Amazon product (Get Highlights) and it returns results.

After each analysis, you may be able to submit one structured review for that item (depending on your plan and remaining query balance). Purchasing a query package may also include access to the Review Pool.

In short: 4.0+ = Positive, 3.0–3.9 = Neutral (on Amazon: Mixed), <3.0 = Negative.

For Google Places

  • Global signal: the public Google star rating.
  • Recent signal: the tone of the specific reviews fetched for the analysis.
  • We combine both to provide a simple label. If recent feedback diverges from the global rating, you may see a small trend hint.

For Amazon products

  • We infer likely strengths and weaknesses by analyzing the product listing context (title, description, category cues).
  • From these signals, we predict a sentiment score (1–5). If pros and cons look balanced, the label may be Mixed.
  • We do not quote individual Amazon reviews.

Your submitted reviews can be found in your personal dashboard. To keep the dashboard focused on useful contributions, a review may appear after it receives at least one like.

💡 Tip: If you want to track a review more easily, you can like your own review to surface it in your dashboard.

No — your remaining query balance can never go below zero. If your balance reaches zero, you won’t be able to start new analyses that require queries. To continue, you’ll need to purchase additional queries.

We currently use Amazon.com because it provides the broadest product coverage and global relevance. Support for other Amazon regions may be added based on demand.
